- Confirm that the bus is in compliance with Transport Canada specs.
- Confirm pre-delivery inspection by dealer.
- Confirm bus has passed pre-delivery inspections by manufacturer.
- Confirm warranty terms.
- Confirm emissions certificates.
Beyond the documentation, other particulars to look at are the following:
- Exterior: including mirrors, doors, and lights.
- Tires and Wheels: for pressure and alignment, and tire sizes and ratings.
- Engine and Mechanical: including fluid levels, starting, shifting, and brakes

- HVAC: heating and cooling.
- Technology: including public address system, GPS, cameras, telematics and Wi-Fi.
